Price Car Toyota Tacoma

Toyota Tacoma Design
Somewhere in between a small work truck and a full-size behemoth, the 2011 Toyota Tacoma is a dependable and sturdy truck that can get the job done.

The 2011 Tacoma is extremely versatile with three trim levels (Base, PreRunner and X-Runner) and three cab options: Regular or Access Cabs (extended, six-foot beds) and Double Cab (five- or six-foot bed). Two-wheel drive is standard, with four-wheel drive available. Two powerful engine choices include a 159-horsepower, 2.7-liter four-cylinder mated to a standard five-speed manual (Regular and Access Cabs) or four-speed automatic transmission (standard on Double Cab), and a 236-horsepower, 4.0-liter V-6 mated to either a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic. An automatic limited-slip differential is standard.

Competing with the Ford Ranger, Nissan Frontier, Dodge Dakota and Chevrolet Colorado, the 2011 Toyota Tacoma achieves competitive fuel economy with 14-20 mpg in the city and 18-26 on the highway. When properly equipped with the V-6 Towing Prep Package, the 2011 Toyota Tacoma can tow up to an impressive 6,500 pounds. The 2011 Tacoma boasts plenty of off-road capability, when outfitted with Toyota’s TRD Off-Road package which features appearance and performance-oriented upgrades like progressive-rate front springs, Bilstein shocks, BFGoodrich Rugged Trail tires, 16- or 17-inch alloy wheels, a street-tuned suspension and low-profile tires. The X-Runner is equipped with the 4.0-liter V-6 engine, six-speed manual transmission, 18-inch wheels, Bridgestone Potenza tires and a lowered, specially tuned suspension.
