Price Car Volvo s80

Sitting atop of the S Series food chain, the 2011 Volvo S80 boasts ample power options, respectable fuel economy, and exceptional safety features, which all fall under an umbrella of luxury.

From its trademark grille and logo, to its vintage lines, the 2011 Volvo S80 displays a refreshed, yet classic Volvo design. That design includes standard power-operated and heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals, which are great in adverse conditions and everyday city driving. Seventeen-inch alloy wheels and fog lights are standard, while 18-inch alloy wheels are optional along with rain-sensing windshield wipers, heated windshield-washer nozzles, headlight washers, xenon headlights with articulating lenses, and a moonroof.

Once on the inside of the 2011 Volvo S80, you’ll be in a world of luxury. Choose between Off Black or Soft Beige leather upholstery and enjoy leather-clad steering wheel and shift knob with Silk Metal inlay, modern wood inlays, cruise control, Bluetooth® connectivity, USB and iPod music interface, auxiliary input/USB port, Sirius Satellite Radio, and a high performance audio system. If you really want to enjoy all of the comforts of Sweden, then you’ll want to opt for dual-zone climate control, heated front and rear seats, a premium sound system, and a navigation system with real-time traffic information.

The 2011 Infiniti M is also an IIHS “Top Safety Pick,” which should reassure buyers looking for a safe large luxury car. The M also offers better performance than the S80 does and while it does cost about $6,000 more than the S80, it’s still fairly affordable by luxury car standards.

The S80 is among the least-expensive cars in its class, which means that if you want to save some money, it may pay to look in other classes. The Buick LaCrosse starts at more than $10,000 less than the S80 does but reviewers say that if you option it right, you can turn it into a near luxury car – just like the S80. Like the S80, the LaCrosse is an IIHS “Top Safety Pick.” The LaCrosse also has a longer powertrain warranty than the S80 does.
