Ford Escape 2011 Design
The 2011 Ford Escape has not been altered too much from previous year’s models, but the main selling points on the Escape are sure to keep the SUV quite popular.
Most consumers who purchase the Ford Escape are drawn to it because of the vehicle’s lower than average price for comparable vehicles as well as the excellent safety features and cargo room, each of which compare very favorably to other cars in its class. While the 2011 Ford Escape does not boast as powerful of an engine as other similar SUVs, the Escape makes up for it by having very good fuel efficiency.
Since its introduction, the Escape has grown both in terms of phyiscal dimensions, but also content and trim levels. Just a few years ago the Escape was available in just three trim levels: XLS, XLT and Limited. Now you can add to that list Hybrid, and Hybird Limited, for a total of five trim levels.
Also, a new 10-inch front disc / rear drum braking system is claimed to improve durability while decreasing noise and dust levels.
